I got started around 6am this morning. I decided i would take my talents to the American Tobacco Trail. It was still a little dark out but not dark enough for me to break out the headlight. Since it was still a dark trail, i used my reflective lights just so no one would mistaken me for a deer. Nice easy pace, with not many people out. About 6 miles in, I began to see a few runners here and there right before I hit the 7 mile turnaround. My 7 miles back i tried to increase my pace slightly just to give my legs the extra work. Finished up my 14 miles with a pace of 10’13”, which was slightly inaccurate since i was in the woods and the gps wasn’t picking up very well.
