Marathon Training Day 41

Not a bad morning for a run. Yes it’s was still warm but the humidity was about 10% less than usual. Headed down to art museum to hit some trails. Seeing that I got started later than usual, I wasn’t surprised to see lots of walkers on the trails. My run took me over the interstate and through Meredith college. I passed by Meredith’s track and only wish it was open to the public. It would make my life easier on track days since it’s only about 5 minutes from my house, but the track use only open to students. By the end of my run, I had done 4.80 miles at a surprising pace of 9’00”. I didn’t feel like I was moving that fast, which is a GREAT thing. It means I’m getting stronger. I wasn’t even really tired afterwards although I was still very sweaty. #training #running
